1980s 'Albert Capraro' Velvet and Feather Gown
This stately gown is both elegant and cheeky. The velvet drop waist bodice has a taffeta ribbon belt that could be worn tied in the front or back, or not at all! A playful neckline of ostrich, marabou, and turkey feathers is cut wide and can be worn just off the shoulders. American designer, Albert Capraro, created exceptional looks for women of high society as well as many of the gowns worn by former First Lady, Betty Ford.
