1960s Baby Blue Belted Knit Dress
Soft as a cloud, this baby blue knit dress has a wide neck and dolman cap sleeves. Simple yet intricate, the details on this dress are seriously beautiful with knit covered buttons and a matching belt. The belt has knit rings woven by a blue velvet ribbon with a bow closure that could be worn either in the front or back.

There are belt loops and a waist seam. This dress has a 3 button closure at the back of the neck only. The seam allowance on the interior of the dress at the left side suggests that there was once a zipper. A zipper could easily be added again to ease the dressing process. The bow belt has a hook and eye closure. The velvet on the bow has the press marks of minor age as well as light discoloration.
